Greg relocated from Pennsylvania to Arizona in 1969 and established residency in Tucson. He graduated from the University of Arizona in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with high distinction. His major was accounting.

He has continued his education with training in tax compliance and tax and financial planning for businesses and high income/high net worth individuals, primarily through courses sponsored by national and state professional organizations.

He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as its Tax Division and Private Company Practice Section. He is also a member of the Arizona and California Societies of Certified Public Accountants, the Tax Practice Review Committee of the Arizona State Board of Accountancy and the Southern Arizona Estate Planning Council.
